Saying nothing aloud
save neutral extensions
to their stupid heads
in miscomprehensions.
While inside he clamored
and persistently shouted
At his own inadequate behavior
only he himself knew.
Insisting and hounding
Perpetually sounding
“If I could just see the whole bird
only once!
I’d learn how to fly
and I’d have no more wants.”
Needless to say, Leaf got what he needed.
